Roles & Responsibilities

Purchasing Source suppliers, request quotations, and prepare comparison sheets. Create and process purchase orders (POs) based on operational requirements. Follow up with suppliers for delivery timelines and order status. Maintain supplier databases, pricing records, and purchase files. Ensure materials meet required specifications and quality standards. Logistics Handle all RAKEZ customs documentation, clearance procedures, and gate pass management. Organize inbound and outbound shipments and coordinate with transport companies. Prepare delivery notes, packing lists, shipping files, and logistics records. Track shipment status and ensure timely delivery or collection. Coordinate with warehouse, operations, and finance teams for stock, GRNs, and documentation verification. Maintain proper records of logistics transactions for audits and compliance. General Coordination Communicate with RAKEZ authorities, customs officers, and logistics vendors. Support inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate stock levels. Ensure all purchasing and logistics tasks comply with company policies.

Desired Candidate Profile

We are looking for a Purchase & Logistics Coordinator to support procurement and logistics operations at our facility in Al Ghail Industrial Zone, RAKEZ. The role requires strong experience in purchasing, RAKEZ customs documentation, gate pass handling, vendor coordination, and shipment processing. The ideal candidate will ensure all materials are purchased on time, documentation is accurate, and logistics movements are executed smoothly and in compliance with RAKEZ procedures.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in procurement and logistics within the UAE. Strong understanding of RAKEZ customs processes, documentation, and procedures. Experience in industrial purchasing (machining, oilfield tools, engineering materials preferred). Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word) and capable of managing detailed documentation. Strong negotiation, communication, and follow-up skills. Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment. Good English communication; Arabic is an advantage. Work Hours Full-time, standard UAE business hours.
