Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and assess their capabilities, ensuring competitive pricing and quality standards.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, focusing on cost efficiency and favorable terms to maximize company profitability.
  • Manage purchase orders from initiation to delivery, tracking timelines and ensuring timely receipt of goods to meet operational needs.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to forecast purchasing needs and align purchasing strategies with business objectives.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred to ensure a solid foundational knowledge.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles within a relevant industry, demonstrating a proven track record of successful negotiations.
  • Certifications such as Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) are highly advantageous for enhancing professional credibility.
  • Experience within the manufacturing or retail sectors is preferred, as it provides valuable insights into industry-specific purchasing needs.
