Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We're seeking an experienced Purchase Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement, excellent negotiation skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality products and services. Key Responsibilities: Manage the end-to-end purchasing process for all catering-related items, including food, beverages, kitchen supplies, and equipment - Source and negotiate with reliable vendors and suppliers to ensure cost-efficiency, quality, and timely delivery - Maintain accurate inventory records and forecast purchasing needs - Ensure all purchases comply with health and safety regulations - Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and supplier performance - Work closely with kitchen staff and operations to understand and fulfill their needs - Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers - Analyze market trends and pricing to make informed buying decisions - Research new products and technologies to improve the overall purchasing process

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Proven experience as a Purchase Manager in the catering, hospitality, or food service industry (5-10 years)
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Solid knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software, Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • CIPS qualification preferred
