Purchase Manager

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the spare parts inventory system at our manufacturing unit.
• Ensure timely procurement and availability of spare parts for production lines.
• Collaborate with maintenance, repair, and operations teams for parts requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain inventory levels.
• Lead the Source-to-Contract (S2C) process, including supplier identification, selection, and negotiation.
• Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring alignment with business goals and optimizing supplier performance.
• Managing direct procurement processes, including the purchasing or obtaining of automotive spare parts, materials, resources and services.
• Managing indirect procurement, including the purchasing of goods, services, supplies, and materials needed for daily operations
• Develop and enforce procurement procedures and policies.
• Prepare reports on inventory status, physical stock taking, and key metrics.
• Managing the procure-to-pay process, including requisitioning, purchasing, receiving, invoicing, and paying for goods and services.
• Collaborating with internal departments to ensure procurement needs are met.
• Finalizing purchase details and processing purchase requests and purchase orders
• Tracking key metrics and KPIs to reduce costs
• Collaboration with Production and Design Teams: Partner with engineering and product development teams to address any production challenges, facilitate new product launches, or improve existing processes.
• Supply Chain & Inventory Management: Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure a steady supply of high-quality materials, parts, and components. Oversee inventory management to minimize excess and ensure production schedules are met.
