Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Objective:To provide effective and efficient support for all purchasing activities within the Purchasing Department, which undertakes and evaluates all suppliers and vendors on a continuous basis for materials, services, and works. This ensures that they have the capability to deliver the desired goods, items, materials, or services on time, in the correct quantities, and as per the agreement, without compromising on quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Able to identify, negotiate, and implement purchasing agreements that lead to efficiencies in line with financial and procurement requirements.
Ensures that all purchasing activities comply with regulations and laws related to purchasing practices and are in accordance with the Purchasing Agreement and standard practices set forth by the company.
Coordinates, assesses, and selects suppliers or vendors that are capable of providing quality services on time, at competitive prices, with an emphasis on quality and delivery speed.
Able to prepare and develop supplier bid lists to obtain competitive quotations for commodities, services, and materials.
Expedites outstanding purchase orders from other departments to ensure delivery requirements are met on time.
Assists in developing and establishing new sources of supply.
Assesses, coordinates, and resolves issues with end-user departments and suppliers regarding defective or unacceptable goods, products, or services, determining the best corrective action.
Monitors and controls day-to-day procurement operations, ensuring that procured items or services are delivered on time and meet the standards set forth by the company.
Prepares reports, evaluations, vendor assessments, and other materials related to the Purchasing Department as needed.
Maintains and reviews records of purchased items, including their costs, delivery dates, warranties/guarantees, product performance, and inventories of purchased goods.
Possesses technical knowledge of the goods and services being procured by the end-user department to select the right service provider, vendor, or supplier.
Performs other related duties as assigned by the line manager or department head.
Ensure compliance with the company’s policies, rules and procedures related to Health, Safety and Environmental Management.

Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience Requirement:
Expat : 02 - 4 Years of Experience in purchasing.
UAE National with 0-2 Years of Experience in purchasing.
Skill Sets:
Good knowledge and understanding in purchase procedures during the purchase process of items and services.
Client / customer Awareness.
Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple procurement process.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and procurement software.
Knowledge of supplier management and inventory control.
