Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers that align with company needs and values.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing with vendors to secure the best terms and conditions for the organization.
- Manage supplier relationships to ensure reliable delivery and quality of goods, addressing any issues promptly.
- Analyze purchase orders and inventory levels to optimize stock management and reduce excess costs.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field is essential.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in purchasing or procurement within a relevant industry is required.
- Certifications such as Certified Purchasing Professional (CPP) or Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) are preferred.
- Experience in negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships is crucial for success in this role.
