- Conducts and controls the QA activities that ensures the manufacture of high standard products for the customers / consumers according to company and regulatory quality and food safety specifications in line with the Food Safety Management System strategy. Provides accurate results and implementation of Proficiency Testings and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) for the assigned areas (i.e. QA Lab, Micro Lab, Ion-Chrom and Gas-Chrom Instrumentation Labs, Tissue Lab, Line QA, Packaging and Raw Materials QA, Water QA, Wastewater QA, Trade QA, Syrup Manufacturing QA, and Production Lines QA).

Job Responsibilities:
- Checks process and operational conditions, and conducts physio-chemical tests on the semi-finished and finished products using approved procedures at required frequencies. Inspects that the correct materials are used in beverage production and sees to it that the beverage produced complies with specifications. Carries-out QA tests on time for process water, caps, preforms, syrup, PET bottles, juices, water, and tissue as per quality plan. Adheres to FSMS and HSE SOPs. Keeps track on quality and food safety related KPIs and issues.
- Conducts and inspects packaging and raw materials QA, and incoming and outgoing fullgoods transfers. Prepares summary reports for supplier ratings, packaging and raw materials disposition.
- Operates, maintains and calibrates laboratory instrument and equipment; reports any abnormalities of equipment. Develops skills in operating Ion-Chromatograph and Gas Chromatograph. Monitors specific CCPs and OPRPs ensuring within compliance.
- Prepares and standardizes chemical reagents.
- Prepares, reviews and submits SOPS and work instructions for approval related to the Food Safety Management System (Food Safety System Certification - FSSC22000). Supports quality, food safety and HSE certifications
- Conducts GLP, GMP and Food Safety inspections, root-cause analyses, monitors NCRs. Ensures housekeeping in the area of responsibility. Identifies and properly disposes non-conforming materials and products.
- Monitors OPEX budgets per assigned area; creates purchase requisitions and goods receipts.
- Participates in trainings on Cleaning and Sanitation, Calibration, Consumer Response, Sensory Evaluation, Laboratory Management System, Analyst Proficiency Testing, QA Refresher Course, Food Hygiene, Continual Improvement / Problem Solving Process, SPC.
- Responds on customer / consumer inquiries, and participates in cross-functional and food safety team for root-cause analysis.
- Participates in the qualification process of ingredients, raw materials and packaging materials.
- Supports Supplier Quality Assurance / Vendor Approval Program. Conducts vendor audits and follow-ups for action plans. Conducts artwork verification, and participates in the implementation of strategic projects that contribute to the continuous improvement of the business, quality, and people.
- Participates in Quality and Food Safety risk assessments. Implements and monitors Corrective and Preventive Action Plans (In-Plant and also with Suppliers). Participates with cross-functional and food safety team for root cause analysis, preparing investigation reports and continual improvement.

Desired Candidate Profile

- B.S. Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Bio-Chemistry, Food Technology, Dairy Technology or any Science-related courses (preferably Food Science).
- Minimum 1 year FMCG beverage manufacturing experience (NCBs and CSDs).
- Working knowledge on Manufacturing Process (NCBs and CSDs), and Quality Systems implementation.
- Working knowledge in preform and closure manufacturing.
- Working knowledge on incoming packaging and raw materials inspection and acceptance
- PET manufacturing (Bottled Water, Juice).
- Fluent level in English communication (oral and written).
- Computer proficient.
- Analytical and has attention to details.
- Self-starter with a high level of initiative and motivation.
- Business driven / pragmatic decision maker who behaves as a process owner.
- Capable of evaluating / analyzing technical data and organizing / presenting technical information.
- With Registered Professional License.
