Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures in accordance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing of materials, workmanship, and construction activities to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Review and verify inspection reports, test results, and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to resolve quality-related issues promptly.
  • Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action plans.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to quality plans and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Participate in audits and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality performance.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with regulatory requirements and client expectations.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Maximum of 10 years of experience in QA/QC roles within civil construction projects.
  • Proven experience working on construction projects in the UAE, with a good understanding of local regulations and standards.
  • Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, codes, and regulations applicable in the UAE.
  • Expertise in quality inspection, testing procedures, and documentation.
  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards such as ISO, ASTM, ACI, and UAE-specific standards.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficient in preparing quality reports, NCRs, and maintaining quality records.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to safety and quality compliance.
  • Experience with quality management software or related tools is an advantage.
