Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of MEP installations including HVAC plumbing and electrical systems proactively identifying and resolving deficiencies before they impact the project schedule
  • Develop and implement MEP quality control plans and procedures ensuring adherence to project specifications and international standards to guarantee superior quality
  • Manage and maintain quality records including inspection reports non conformance reports NCRs and corrective actions providing a comprehensive audit trail for all MEP activities
  • Review and approve MEP submittals shop drawings and material certifications guaranteeing compliance with design requirements and project specifications to maintain project integrity
  • Oversee the testing and commissioning of MEP systems verifying their proper functionality and performance ensuring they meet the required operational standards and are ready for handover
  • Provide technical guidance and training to MEP installation teams promoting best practices and ensuring a skilled workforce that delivers high quality results
  • Investigate and analyze any MEP related quality incidents determining root causes and implementing preventative measures to avoid future occurrences and improve overall project quality
  • Stay updated on the latest MEP codes standards and industry best practices continuously improving your knowledge and skills to ensure cutting edge quality control

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Electrical or a related Engineering field
  • Demonstrate 5 years of experience in MEP quality control within the construction industry with a focus on large scale projects
  • Possess strong technical skills including proficiency in reading and interpreting MEP drawings specifications and technical manuals
  • Exhibit strong soft skills including leadership problem solving and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
