Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with project specifications, standards, and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Review, assess, and approve contractor submittals, including Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and material approvals.
- Monitor and witness inspections and tests of construction works to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct regular site quality inspections and audits to verify adherence to approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
- Identify quality issues, non-conformances, and deviations, and recommend appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and maintain quality reports, records, and documentation for all QA/QC activities.
- Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure proper quality control practices are implemented.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits and ensure timely resolution of findings.
- Promote a culture of continuous quality improvement across the project.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant discipline).
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in QA/QC within a Supervision Consultant environment.
- Certified ISO 9001 Lead Auditor.
- Experience in reviewing and approving contractor submittals (ITPs, method statements, material approvals).
- Strong knowledge of construction inspections, testing, and quality standards.
- Ability to identify quality issues and recommend corrective/preventive measures.
- Certified Quality Professional (e.g., ASQ, CQI, IRCA) is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills.
