QA/QC Engineer Alserkal & Assarain Concrete Products LLC

1. Quality Control & Testing

• Inspect incoming raw materials (cement, aggregates, admixtures, etc.) to ensure compliance with specifications and requirements.
• Monitor batching, mixing, and curing processes to maintain product consistency.
• Conduct routine and special tests on fresh and hardened concrete (slump, compressive strength, density, absorption, etc.).
• Inspect finished concrete products (blocks, pavers, precast elements, kerbstone, etc.) against Authority standards & Project specifications.
• Ensure calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
• Ensure HSE protocol is upheld and followed.

2. Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Develop, implement, and monitor quality control plans and procedure for the manufacturing process.
• Ensure compliance with relevant Authority & international standards (ASTM, BS, EN, ACI) and project specifications.
• Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports, test certificates, and compliance documentation as per protocols.
• Coordinate with third-party testing agencies when required.

3. Process & Continuous Improvement

• Identify quality issues, analyze root causes, and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• Support production teams in minimizing product rejection and wastage.
• Participate in internal and external audits (ISO 9001, environmental & safety audits).
• Recommend improvements in process to enhance product quality.

4. Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with production, maintenance, and R&D teams to resolve quality-related concerns.
• Communicate with clients/consultants regarding quality issues, inspections, and approvals.
• Train and guide production staff and operators on quality awareness and best practices.
• Responsible for providing product samples to customers, maintaining accurate records of samples issued, and ensuring that manufactured items are produced in strict conformity with the approved control sample
