QA/QC Engineer (Rail/ Metro)

Dubai, UAE

Parsons is looking for a QA/QC Engineer (Rail/ Metro) who will be responsible for performing quality activities on an assigned moderately-complex project/program and/or functional area(s) to ensure that products or services provided are in accordance with customer and Parsons Quality requirements.

What Youll Be Doing

• Good etiquette and people management skills
• Knowledge of how to ensure compliance with Employer Requirements
• Ability to solve problems, take initiative and plan the tasks
• Ability to work alone and work in teams.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Confidence, respectability and ability to be forthright and take the lead when required.
• Primarily a QA based role although QC activities will also be part of the duties when required.
• Arranging the Quality Audit Plan and for compliance with the KPI s associated.
• Conducting internal and external quality audits including planning, notification, arranging, leading, documenting and reporting.
• Documenting nonconformities, registering and managing CAR and IAR closure and KPI.
• Coordinating between all sites of the project for Audits.
• Participating in Prequalification audits and submissions for review including facility inspections and reports.
• Conducting Audits on the Contractor QC and QA Activities.
• Review the process of construction at the site randomly unannounced and planned.
• Following project procedures and auditing and reporting and instigating improvements.
• Updating procedures and project documents if required.
• Formulate & Implement Quality Systems in JV.
• Arrange, plan and undertake training of site QAQC staff and ensure the quality strategy is followed.
• Assisting the QAQC Manager with his duties and reports.
• Performed other duties as assigned.
  
  
  

What Required Skills Youll Bring

• Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum of ten (10) years experience inQuality Assurance / Quality Control in railway, metro, Large scale projects.
• Must have ISO 9001 - 2015 Certified External and Internal Auditor
• Must have a sound knowledge about contractual relationships.
• Must be fully computer literate and able to utilize computer technology to access data, maintain records, generate reports, etc. and any project specific engineering and construction relevant software.

• Previous experience of working in a PMC
