Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical installations including HVAC piping and equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards
- Monitor quality control processes on site and report any deviations or non conformances
- Verify that mechanical materials and workmanship meet required codes standards and client requirements
- Review and approve mechanical submittals shop drawings and material certifications
- Perform testing and commissioning activities for mechanical systems and record results
- Identify and document defects and initiate corrective actions to resolve quality issues
- Maintain quality records including inspection reports non conformance reports and corrective action reports
- Collaborate with engineers contractors and site teams to ensure quality standards are met
- Provide technical guidance and training to installation teams on quality best pr
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in QA QC inspection for mechanical works in construction projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC piping plumbing and equipment
- Familiarity with quality control procedures standards and international codes
- Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings specifications and technical documents
- Detail oriented with excellent observation and reporting skills
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to identify defects and implement corrective actions effectively
- Skilled in preparing inspection reports non conformance reports and quality documentation
- Commitment to safety and quality assurance on site
