Job Description

The QA/QC Inspector plays a vital role in ensuring the quality and compliance of products and processes within an organization. This position is primarily responsible for inspecting materials, products, and processes to make sure they meet predefined standards and specifications. The QA/QC Inspector closely collaborates with production teams, engineers, and management to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies for quality assurance. By leveraging their expertise, they help minimize errors, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, knowledgeable in industry standards, and possesses strong analytical skills. This position is crucial in maintaining the credibility and reputation of a company by ensuring that all outputs conform to required safety and quality benchmarks.


Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming raw materials and finished products.
  • Collaborate with production teams to address quality-related issues promptly.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements at all times.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures and inspection techniques.
  • Document and report inspection results accurately and on a timely basis.
  • Monitor and maintain records of non-conformance issues and corrective actions.
  • Provide training to staff on quality assurance practices and standards.
  • Participate in internal and external audits and prepare audit reports.
  • Assist in developing quality assurance policies and procedures for the company.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding quality standards and requirements.
  • Review and update quality documentation and inspection records periodically.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in quality assurance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards, testing methods, and procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills are required.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary.
  • Proficiency in using inspection tools and quality management software.
  • Ability to lift and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds occasionally.
