Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare the specific Project Quality Plans for approval by the Clients/ Clients' representatives for all Company projects. 

  • Coordinate with the Clients' representatives at each project to establish the process flows and controls. 

  • Coordinate with Subcontractors and Suppliers to maintain the required level of quality at the different project sites. 

  • Attend Quality meetings with the Clients/ Clients' representatives to maintain the Project Quality Plan requirements. 

  • Manage the Site QC Teams and ensure proper running of all QC activities on project sites 

  • Ensure that quality records are correctly maintained on project sites. 

  • Ensure proper handing over of project close out documents including warranties & guarantees, O&M manuals, testing & commissioning reports, as built drawings and authority approvals. 

  • Assist in the development of systems and procedures required to ensure full compliance of production aspects of the Company to the requirements of ISO 9001 and any Quality Assurance requirements for the projects. 

  • Develop Company quality objectives and targets and establish suitable programs to achieve them 

  • Review and propose amendments to the Quality Management Systems. 

  • Ensure that all Quality Management System documents are kept current and up-to date. 

  • Implement the Company Quality Management System. , 

  • Assist in internal and third party audits and certifications and ensure that auditors’ observations are properly implemented in the projects. 

  • Assist and coordinate with Certification Consultants and external agencies during surveillance and recertification audits. 

  • Provide periodical quality related progress reports and follow up on closure of action items. 

  • Report and present results during management review meetings. 

  • Identify training needs in coordination with the Clients/ Clients' representatives and Project Management Team (PMT), develop training programs in quality and conduct training sessions for all staff levels. 

  • Investigate properly the root causes of occurring non conformities and defects, and put in place corrective and preventive measures to prevent their recurrence; and monitor the effectiveness of the preventive measures which are implemented and review them when needed

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering with 12-15years of experience in the building construction industry. 

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a QA/QC Manager in a reputable building construction company 

  • Must be a Certified Internal Quality Auditor with 3 years of auditing experience. 

  • Proficient in spoken and written English language. 

  • Computer skills should include competency in MS Word, Excel and Power point, knowledge of MS Access is an advantage
