Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


  • Perform inspection and quality control activities for mechanical systems, including HVAC, piping, and MEP installations.

  • Review and verify shop drawings, method statements, ITPs (Inspection & Test Plans), and material submittals.

  • Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and applicable codes and standards.

  • Inspect installation of HVAC systems including:

    • Ducting and insulation

    • Chilled water piping systems

    • Equipment installation (AHUs, FCUs, chillers, pumps, etc.)

  • Witness and verify testing and commissioning activities, including:

    • Pressure testing

    • Air balancing and system performance testing

    • Equipment functional testing

  • Ensure proper documentation of all inspections, including inspection reports, checklists, and NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).

  • Monitor contractor activities and ensure adherence to quality procedures and project requirements.

  • Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and consultants to resolve quality issues.

  • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements during all inspection activities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in QA/QC inspection within oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical, or infrastructure projects.

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

  • Strong experience in MEP and HVAC systems inspection.

  • Good knowledge of international standards and codes (ASHRAE, SMACNA, ASME, etc.).

  • Experience in reviewing QA/QC documentation and inspection procedures.

  • Strong reporting and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently in site-based environments.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Relevant QA/QC certifications (e.g., HVAC, piping, or mechanical inspection certifications).

  • Familiarity with project documentation systems (e.g., Aconex, SharePoint).

  • Experience working on ADNOC or similar Middle East projects is an advantage.
