Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ensure implementation of all electrical, mechanical, ELV, and civil works as per approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, and project quality standards.

  • Monitor day-to-day site activities to ensure compliance with project quality requirements and approved methodologies.

  • Prepare, review, and maintain Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Method Statements, checklists, and QA/QC documentation.

  • Conduct site inspections and coordinate with consultants/client representatives for work inspections and approvals.

  • Raise and track MIRs, WIRs, RFIs, NCRs, and corrective action reports.

  • Verify installation quality of containment systems, cabling, busducts, HVAC systems, piping, ELV systems, and associated equipment.

  • Ensure all incoming materials are inspected, approved, and comply with project specifications and approved submittals.

  • Coordinate with procurement and site teams to resolve material quality issues and non-conformances.

  • Monitor testing and commissioning activities to ensure compliance with project standards and manufacturer recommendations.

  • Review shop drawings and technical submittals to ensure constructability and quality compliance.

  • Maintain proper quality records, inspection reports, calibration certificates, and test documentation.

  • Ensure all works are executed in line with data centre standards, client specifications, and international codes.

  • Coordinate with construction teams to identify quality risks and implement preventive measures.

  • Participate in internal quality audits and support external/client audits.

  • Verify snag rectifications and ensure timely closure of punch list items.

  • Ensure compliance with project quality objectives, procedures, and ISO standards.

  • Support preparation of handover dossiers, as-built documentation, and final QA/QC records.

  • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to project quality requirements.

  • Coordinate closely with HSE, planning, engineering, and execution teams for smooth project delivery.

  • Maintain proactive communication with consultants, clients, vendors, and project stakeholders regarding quality matters.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.

  • 5–8 years of QA/QC experience in MEP or data centre construction projects.

  • Strong understanding of data centre construction standards and quality requirements.

  • Experience in inspection and testing of electrical, HVAC, ELV, and infrastructure systems.

  • Good knowledge of international codes, standards, and QA/QC procedures.

  • Familiar with preparation and review of ITPs, Method Statements, MIRs, WIRs, RFIs, and NCRs.

  • Ability to interpret IFC drawings, shop drawings, technical submittals, and specifications.

  • Hands-on experience in testing, commissioning, and project handover documentation.

  • Strong coordination skills with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and execution teams.

  • Knowledge of ISO quality management systems and audit procedures.

  • Experience in handling quality documentation and maintaining inspection records.

  • Ability to identify non-conformances and implement corrective/preventive actions.

  • Good understanding of site execution methodologies and construction sequencing.

  • Proficient in MS Office, QA/QC reporting, and documentation systems.

  • Strong communication, reporting, and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple inspection activities simultaneously.

  • Candidate should possess strong attention to detail and problem-solving capability.

  • Experience working in live or mission-critical facility environments will be an advantage.

  • UAE/GCC experience preferred.

  • Immediate joiners or candidates available on short notice preferred.
