Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of materials, equipment, and workmanship to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards, including API and ASME.
  • Oversee and verify the implementation of quality control procedures throughout all project phases, from fabrication to installation and commissioning, ensuring adherence to the project quality plan.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, including documenting non-conformances, corrective actions, and preventative measures, using specific software or tools.
  • Witness and verify critical testing procedures, such as hydrostatic testing, non-destructive examinations (NDT), and pressure testing, ensuring accurate results and documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or related field) or a relevant technical diploma, providing a strong foundation in engineering principles.
  • Holds relevant certifications such as API, CSWIP, or CWI, demonstrating recognized expertise in inspection and quality control methodologies.
  • Demonstrates a minimum of 5 years of experience in QA/QC within the oil and gas industry, preferably with exposure to offshore projects.
  • Displays in-depth knowledge of industry standards like API, ASME, and ISO 9001, ensuring compliance and best practices.
