Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Assist CLO / Purchase Department in Supplier Evaluation and supplier performance monitoring
  • Attend inspection by Client / consultant as per the company guideline and verify completion of snags during inspection if any
  • Coordinate with Design Department for completion of As-Built Drawings
  • Decision Making/Assist Engineering Dept / Managment for Engineering related solution.
  • Ensure all testing equipment's are Calibrated / Stored and Maintained properly.
  • Handle Site Activities (Commissioning, Installation etc)
  • Achieve assigned KPI for the department
  • Incoming Materials, New products etc to be inspected randomly before issuance to Store
  • Inspection of Return Material before transfer to IHF
  • Monitor and manage QC Dept
  • Preparation of Reports as per Management instructions
  • Preparation of the Project Specific Quality Plan, Inspection and Test plans, check-sheets and related procedures
  • Providing After Sales Support to Customer as per procedure (Customer Complaint, Technical Queries etc)
  • Record and Maintain all QC related documents as per Company procedure
  • Responsible for raising NCPR and ensure the closure of the same as per company procedure
  • To ensure product is tested comprehensively at various stages of Manufacturing / Installation as per approved specification / drawings and as per company procedures

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 3 years of QC Engineer experience with MV Switchgear
  • Must have a Gulf Experience
