QC Engineer -Production Trouvay Cauvin Gulf FZCO

Job Purpose: The Quality Control Engineer is responsible for ensuring project quality control throughout all phases. Review and enforce project-specific quality plans, inspection/test plans, method statements, and related procedures.

This role combines operational QC activities with strategic quality management responsibilities to guarantee high-quality deliverables, adherence to international standards, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor the project’s Quality Management System (QMS) and control program.
• Review and enforce quality plans, inspection/test plans, method statements, and related procedures.
• Perform incoming, in-process, and final quality controls on all relevant sections.
• Inspect materials delivered to the site and verify conformity with specifications.
• Control all site inspections, verify test reports, and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
• Manage QA/QC documentation, maintain accurate records, and prepare final quality dossiers.
• Issue and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), follow up on corrective actions, and report to the Quality Manager.
• Stop activities in case of process violations and escalate to the Production Engineer and Quality Manager.
• Participate in internal and external audits and support QHSE policy and strategy development.
• Review QMS documentation regularly and ensure implementation of applicable standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and monitor their quality systems.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
• Support monthly reporting and schedule assessments as required.
• Execute additional tasks assigned by the Quality Manager.
