QC Inspector - ISE QA/QC

RELATIONSHIPS
The Quality Control Inspector reports to the QHSE Manager.
AUTHORITY WITHIN DEPARTMENT
The QC Inspector is authorised to reject or hold any work or process which does not conform to specification/drawing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To ensure that the requirements of the documented quality system are adhered to and work produced compiles with drawing and specifications
To discuss all technical issues with the QHSE Manager.
To perform inspection of materials at supplier's premises when required.
To inspect all incoming goods in accordance to the Purchase Order & drawings.
To prepare Inspection Report to record all findings.
To assist with supplier audits, client audits & Third party audits.
To document and report any work or process not conforming to specified requirements using the Non-Conformance reporting system.
To follow-up Non -Conformance reports until satisfactory conclusion.
To ensure that any discrepant materials are removed from the processes and quarantined
To arrange/witness FAT and document it.
To ensure employees and department heads are made aware of the required
inspection stages during product manufacture.
To engage in any other activities requested by the QHSE Manager.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
To ensure that the company's quality control and quality assurance procedures are adhered to.
To recommend improvement/best practice to inspection and production processes where possible.
TRAINING
To actively participate in training as identified.
SAFETY
Take reasonable care of their own safety.
Consider the safety of others who may be affected by your acts or emissions.
Work in accordance with information, training & instruction provided.
Refrain from intentionally misusing or recklessly interfering with anything that has been provided for health, safety and environmental reasons.
Report any hazardous defects in plant and equipment, or shortcomings in the existing safety controls, to the Superior without delay.
Not undertake any task for which authorization and / or training has not been given.
Report all accidents, incidents and hazardous situations to the Superior.
Stop work immediately if you have any safety concerns over the task and discuss with the Superior.

Qualifications:
(Education/No. of Years of Experience)
HSC or Equivalent with Min.5 years Experience
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Equivalent
Experience:
Working Knowledge in Metrology and Machined components inspection
Knowledge in Soft tools handling and WPCE products
Skills, Training, special knowledge, and/or Language skills
Computer Literacy, QMS Awareness, Ability to Read and Write English.
Knowledge in Extracting reports, log creation, Cad Sketch Skills
