QC Inspector Falcon Synergy Engineering L.L.C

Review & Preparation

- Review project specifications, drawings, WPS (Welding Procedure Specifications), ITP (Inspection & Test Plan), and quality standards.
- Verify material certificates (MTCs) and ensure compliance with standards and client requirements.

Material Control

- Inspect incoming raw materials (plates, sections, bolts, consumables).
- Verify heat numbers, sizes, and grades against the purchase order and approved documents.

Fabrication Stage Inspections

- Perform fit-up inspection (alignment, dimensions, joint preparation, root gap).
- Conduct welding inspections.
- Perform dimensional checks during fabrication to ensure tolerances are met.
- Monitor compliance with approved fabrication drawings and procedures.

Welding & NDT

- Witness or review WPS & PQR qualifications.
- Conduct or coordinate visual weld inspections (VT).
- Coordinate NDT activities (RT, UT, MT, PT) with certified inspectors.

Coating & Surface Preparation

- Verify surface preparation (blast cleaning, grinding, edge preparation).
- Check for cleanliness, roughness (profile), and compliance with coating specifications.
- Inspect painting/coating application, DFT (Dry Film Thickness), adhesion, and curing.

Final Inspection & Documentation

- Perform final dimensional inspection of assemblies and structures.
- Review and compile inspection reports, welding logs, material traceability records, and test certificates.
- QC handover documents for client approval.
