Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine quality control tests on pulp, paper, and packaging materials.
  • Perform physical, chemical, and visual analysis of tissue paper (basis weight, thickness, absorbency, tensile strength, softness, etc.).
  • Monitor production samples and ensure consistency with defined quality standards.
  • Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring accurate test results.
  • Document and report test results, deviations, and non-conformities to the QC Supervisor.
  • Support production teams in troubleshooting quality-related issues.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, hygiene, and safety standards.
  • Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for product quality.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Paper Technology, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in QC laboratory testing (preferably in tissue paper, paper, or FMCG manufacturing industry).
  • Strong knowledge of quality control testing methods and equipment.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards, GMP, and safety protocols.
  • Good analytical, documentation, and reporting skills.
