Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical components, ensuring adherence to engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards, including dimensions, tolerances, and surface finish.
  • Perform detailed dimensional inspections using precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and CMMs, meticulously documenting findings and deviations.
  • Evaluate the performance of mechanical systems and equipment through rigorous testing and analysis, identifying potential failures or areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and other departments to resolve quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
  • Prepare comprehensive quality control reports, including inspection results, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action plans, to communicate findings and drive improvements.
  • Oversee the calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment, ensuring accuracy and reliability of measurements.
  • Participate in the development and review of quality control procedures, work instructions, and inspection checklists, contributing to continuous improvement efforts.

Desired Candidate Profile

Experience in Welding, Piping, HVAC with CSWIP 3.1 CertExperience in Welding, Piping, HVAC with CSWIP 3.1 Cert


  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, providing a strong foundation in mechanical principles.
  • Hold relevant certifications such as Certified Quality Inspector (CQI) or Certified Quality Technician (CQT), demonstrating a commitment to quality.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality control within the manufacturing or engineering industries, with a focus on mechanical components.
