Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough inspections of welding processes and materials to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
  • Review welding procedure specifications (WPS) and ensure they are applied correctly during fabrication.
  • Perform non-destructive testing (NDT) methods such as ultrasonic, radiographic, or magnetic particle testing to identify defects.
  • Document and report findings accurately, providing clear recommendations for corrective actions where necessary.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field; a strong educational background is essential.
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) or equivalent are highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in welding inspection within industries such as construction, manufacturing, or oil and gas.
  • Experience with various welding processes including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, showcasing versatility in inspection techniques.
