O&M Quality and HSE Manager will manage both governance functions across the region with the focus on setting up and unifying Quality systems across the O&M business. This entails having dedicated resources on every project and ensuring that the alignment of project employees with both corporate and client requirements. Responsible for the performance, outputs and any conflicts resolution, liaise with the Operation Directors as required for their project requirements. Supports the proposals team in planning upcoming proposals and raise clarifications as/when required.
Job Description :
Develops and implements Project Quality Plans in close liaison with Operations Director/Manager
Develops and enforces processes, procedures, forms & templates to be used at the project level
Ensures that all quality KPIs set by client and management are achieved and report the same
Supervise and monitor sub-contractors to ensure that they are following the quality plan and achieving their KPIs.
Conduct trainings on quality procedures to SNC-Lavalin team and subcontractors.
Represent and liaise with the Regional Q & HSSE Manager for O&M projects
Works closely with O&M projects in rolling new initiatives and systems
Plan and Manage Quality Assurance requirements and activities
Plan, manage and liaise MENA region Processes, procedures and certification. Unify the processes, procedures, forms, templates and KPIs reporting across all O&M projects
Analyze performance trends and determine business efficiency requirements. Roll out new processes systems to enhance the operation efficiency. Engage in continual improvement for processes and systems by capturing and assigning actions based on Lessons learned. Ensure all SNC-Lavalin project sites in the region are fully compliant with client requirements, current corporate standards and regulations, and laws governing the jurisdiction in which the project or site is located
Oversee the implementation of Global Health, Safety & Environment Management Systems across MENA-Infrastructure, unifying and streamlining all projects
Ensure all managers and personnel are provided the appropriate H&S training and instructions relevant to their tasks and duties
Ensure all internal and external stakeholders are promptly informed of all H&S related issues (i.e. regulations, progress, compliance, violations, etc.) affecting their Sector
Lead Quality and HSSE teams functionally across the region
Select internal and external Health & Safety dedicated resources in cooperation with Regional Quality & HSE Manager
Follow up on project’s H&S progress and be involved in HSE related decisions
Support operations to ensure that the HSE objectives are met
Ensure that the work sites are given proper safety coverage by experienced and qualified safety representative as required by the clients
Coordinate with HSE Officers all safety, health and environmental concerns.
Prepare, analyze and interpret incident statistical data, report safety status including containment of incidents, their investigation and corrective/preventive action
Serve as the primary point of contact with the Regional Quality & HSE Manager, co-ordinate activities and work in consultation Project Managers, Operations Managers and other Department Managers.
