Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of plastic products (e.g., bottles, caps, preforms, packaging materials).
Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 (QMS) standards and company quality procedures.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans, SOPs, and inspection procedures.
Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
Conduct root cause analysis for defects and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Maintain proper documentation and records as per ISO requirements.
Coordinate with production, maintenance, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
Perform internal audits and support external audits (ISO certification, customer audits).
Analyze quality data and prepare reports (KPIs, rejection rates, trends, etc.).
Ensure calibration and proper usage of testing and measuring instruments.
Train production staff on quality standards and procedures.
Handle customer complaints and ensure timely resolution.
Desired Candidate Profile
achelor’s degree in Mechanical / Polymer / Industrial Engineering or related field.
Minimum 2–5 years of experience in plastic manufacturing (Injection Molding / Blow Molding / Extrusion).
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).
Experience in quality inspection tools (Vernier caliper, micrometer, thickness gauge, etc.).
Familiarity with plastic testing methods (visual inspection, drop test, leak test, etc.).
Knowledge of statistical quality control (SQC) and basic quality tools (7 QC tools).
Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation.
