Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections, audits, and reviews of processes and products to identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee the training and development of quality control staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues promptly and recommend corrective actions.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives and reduce defects.
- Act as the primary liaison between the quality department and other departments, fostering a culture of quality throughout the organization.
- Manage and maintain quality documentation, ensuring traceability and compliance during audits.
- Lead root cause analysis investigations and implement solutions to prevent recurrence of quality issues.
- Monitor industry trends and advancements to incorporate best practices into the quality control processes.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality performance and present findings to senior management, highlighting areas of success and opportunities for improvement.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control or assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment or Automobile industry, to understand production challenges.
- Certification in Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO demonstrates a commitment to quality standards.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and six sigma methodologies to enhance process efficiency.
- Fluency in English is a must; knowledge of additional languages can enhance communication in diverse workplaces.
- Strong leadership qualities to guide and inspire a team towards achieving quality objectives.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for maintaining high standards in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.
