Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct final inspection of vehicles after maintenance or repair to ensure all work has been completed as per job card and quality standards.
  • Check vehicle performance (engine, brakes, suspension, electrical systems, etc.) through test drives and diagnostic tools.
  • Verify that all service and repair procedures comply with manufacturer guidelines and safety protocols.
  • Identify workmanship or parts-quality issues and ensure corrective actions are taken before vehicle delivery.
  • Document and report inspection findings, non-conformities, and recurring defects to the Service Manager.
  • Support continuous improvement of service processes and technician performance through feedback and training inputs.
  • Monitor workshop cleanliness, tool calibration, and compliance with service quality checklists.
  • Ensure use of genuine spare parts and adherence to company repair standards.
  • Handle quality-related customer complaints and coordinate resolution with the service and technical teams.
  • Participate in periodic audits and service quality improvement initiatives.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • 2–3 years of experience in vehicle service, inspection, or quality control within an automotive service center or dealership.
  • Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems (engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, etc.).
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools, scanners, and service software.
  • Good understanding of OEM repair standards and customer service processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
