Roles & Responsibilities
In Your new role as Quality Coordinator, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful transfer of activities and the effective definition and execution of safe launch plans.
Ensures SOP readiness with Quality KPIs achieved within targets, including customer complaints, PPM, and cost of poor quality.
Maintains and develops the Quality Management System in compliance with ISO 9001:2015, ATEX-IECEx 80079-34, IATF 16949, and customer-specific requirements.
Acts as the key customer contact for all quality-related issues, ensuring timely and accurate communication regarding complaints and audits.
Monitors internal and external PPM, performs root cause analyses, defines corrective actions, and oversees internal audits (product, process, etc.) to drive continuous improvement.
Your main tasks
- Maintain and develop the Quality Assurance according to ISO 9001 V 2015 & ATEX-IECEx 80079-34, IATF 16949 and according to the customer specific requirements.
- Key contact for the customers in case of quality escalation issues.
- Monitoring of internal & External PPM, analyse of root cause, definition of actions.
- Be in line with TE strategy map (e.g. extraordinary customer service) and Quality Policy
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and legal regulations
- Strive for continuous improvement of processes towards customer satisfaction
- Have the authority to stop Shipment and production in case of quality issue
- Communication with the customer in case of complaint presentation of root cause, corrective actions.
- Presentation of our process and system during customer audit.
- Tracking of action plans from customer audits, internal audits.
- Business trip to the customer if needed.
- Methodical support for LI and production in case of quality issue.
- 8D-report monitoring and verification.
- Ensure with cross-functional team customer and management expectation.
- Deployment of Quality objectives and customer requirements according current and planned strategical business with clear vision to the related functions.
- Execute key quality strategies consistent with plant performance and measures.
- Be in line with TE strategy map (e.g. extraordinary customer satisfaction) and Quality Policy.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and legal regulations
- Have the authority to stop Shipment not according specifications to protect customer and TE Business partner.
- Manage the local quality team and the local quality objectives
- Prepare quality reports and presentations on a regular base and exchange with the related departments
- Strive for continuous improvement of processes for a better customer satisfaction
- Drive and control continuous improvement activities from Quality perspective in alignment with the overall TEOA requirements
- Ensure that best practices and lessons learned are appropriately transferred within and across the departments and other EMEA plants
- Ensure effective cross site and cross department communication
- Provide leadership for the quality organization and development
- Coach, develop and train the team members, motivate staff members to meet the objectives and targets
- Execute key quality strategies consistent with plant performance and measures
- Organize and execute audits at plant specific sorting companies
- Strive for excellent working relationship with the SQD and AQE team
- Support of any initiatives from EMEA level for further improvements and TE s market position.
- Facilitate deployment of Quality objectives and strategies within the manufacturing location
- Implement Continuous Improvement Systems like the Fast Response Process (FRB, PPSR, LPA, 8d evaluation, RA) and the complaint review process
