Quality Engineer

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Quality Engineer to join our team in the Head Office! In this role you will get to assist QM at Program level with Design Reviews by performing Quality checks during design submissions. Provides Quality direction and management for small to medium-sized projects and ensures on-schedule completion within timelines in accordance with Parsons Quality Management Plan

What You'll Be Doing:

• Assist QM at Program level with Design Reviews by performing Quality checks during design submissions
• Work as team player towards successful submission of the design packages
• Assist the QM with Construction Supervision support
• Having PMC, Consultancy as well as exposure to work on large and medium size infrastructure projects is an advantage.
• Identifying clients or stakeholder's project needs and goals.
• Creating a detailed plan to successfully complete a project.
• Organizing and storing project reports and documents.
• Managing the project team, including task delegation and work schedule.
• Maintaining project documentation.
• Assist with the preparation and proofing of project deliverables.
• Tracking and reporting project progress.
• Liaising with project stakeholders concerning project details and deliverables.
• Assist in the planning and implementation of projects.
• Helping to coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables.
• Analyzing data as required.
• Conducting administrative duties, such as setting up meetings, drafting invoices and drawing estimates.
• Tracking and reporting project progress.
• Performing other duties assigned by the Project Manager in an orderly and efficient manner.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering and Management or related field
• 3-5 years of experience in Design Reviews by performing Quality checks during design submissions for infrastructure and architectural projects.
• Experience with project management software.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Ability to plan and organize.
• Excellent multitasking skills, being able to manage multiple projects at the same time.
