Roles & Responsibilities
Opportunity:
The Quality Manager will enhance integrated management systems and drive corporate excellence within the organization. This role is critical in upholding commitments to quality, environmental sustainability, and health and safety standards, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain ISO standards and work processes to ensure compliance and operational excellence.
- Lead risk and issue management initiatives, identifying potential risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
- Oversee the integrated management system encompassing Quality, Environment, and Health & Safety (H&S) to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Drive initiatives related to Corporate Excellence Awards, ensuring that the organization meets the criteria for recognition and continuous improvement.
- Manage and promote Employees Excellence Awards, fostering a culture of recognition and motivation among staff.
- Implement and oversee suggestions management systems to encourage employee input and innovation.
- Facilitate continuous improvement of work systems through data analysis, feedback mechanisms, and best practice sharing.
Skills and Attributes for Success:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in quality management, with a strong knowledge of ISO standards and related work processes.
- Proven experience in risk and issue management, with a strategic approach to problem-solving.
- Familiarity with integrated management systems, particularly in Quality, Environment, and Health & Safety.
- Experience in managing initiatives related to Corporate and Employees Excellence Awards.
- Ability to implement and manage suggestions management systems effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams.
- A proactive mindset with a passion for fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
