Gulf Processing Industries LLC (GPI) is seeking Quality Manager. This person will be working at DIP plant and reporting to the Plant Manager. The Quality Manager will lead and strengthen the Quality Assurance (QA) function across the organization. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement, ensuring compliance with international food safety standards, and implementing robust quality systems to enhance operational efficiency and product excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Quality Assurance department and ensure compliance with international food safety and regulatory standards such as FSSC 22000, BRCGS, ISO 22000:2018, Halal, Kosher, USFDA, and other export-related requirements.
  • Oversee corporate food safety and quality control programs across manufacturing facilities.
  • Develop, implement, and periodically review SOPs, policies, and quality protocols to align with the latest standards and operational needs.
  • Manage customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Conduct and facilitate internal and external audits, including customer and certification audits.
  • Define and monitor quality standards for raw materials, packaging materials, in-process checks, and finished products.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and ensure compliance with QA systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to upgrade manufacturing units and ensure legal and food safety compliance.
  • Lead and develop the QA team, ensuring effective structure, motivation, and accountability.
  • Prepare and present monthly reports on departmental performance and key quality metrics to management.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in food technology, Microbiology, or related discipline.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience in a food manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of FSSC 22000, BRCGS, ISO, HACCP, GMP, and other international standards.
  • Proven experience in handling customer audits, regulatory inspections, and quality management systems.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments to ensure smooth QA operations.
