Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct precise measurements and calculations to ensure project specifications are met, minimizing waste and maximizing efficiency.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for projects at various stages, from concept to completion.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to assess project requirements and provide input on material selection.
- Analyze project drawings and specifications to identify discrepancies and propose solutions that align with budgetary constraints.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying or cost estimation within the construction industry is preferred.
- Professional certification such as MRICS or equivalent is highly desirable to demonstrate expertise and commitment to the field.
- Experience in both commercial and residential construction projects will be an advantage, showcasing versatility.
