Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed cost analysis and preparation of estimates for civil engineering projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare and analyze tender documents, negotiating contracts with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best value for the project.
- Monitor project progress and financial performance, providing regular reports to stakeholders to ensure budget adherence and timely delivery.
- Assess and mitigate risks associated with financial and contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field is essential for foundational knowledge.
- Professional certifications such as MRICS or equivalent are highly regarded, demonstrating commitment to industry standards.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in the civil engineering sector, showcasing expertise in project costing and management.
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects is preferred, indicating familiarity with complex cost structures.
