AtkinsR alis is looking for a Quantity Surveyor, in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

AtkinsR alis are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quantity Surveyor to join our cost management team, focusing on pre-contract services for high-profile projects based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will support cost planning, estimating, and procurement activities, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of pre-contract documentation and advice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pre-Contract Cost Management:
  Assist in the preparation of cost plans, elemental estimates, and feasibility studies.
• Support the development of tender documentation including BOQs, pricing schedules, and contract conditions.
• Conduct market research and cost benchmarking to inform estimates.
• Participate in value engineering and risk analysis exercises.

Client & Consultant Coordination:

• Collaborate with design teams to ensure cost-effective solutions are integrated into project designs.
• Attend client and consultant meetings to provide cost input and updates.
• Maintain clear and professional communication with stakeholders.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare and maintain accurate cost reports and project documentation.
• Support bid evaluations and tender analysis.
• Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and client requirements.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, or related field.
• Must have MRICS.
• Minimum 8 years of experience with a focus on pre-contract services.
• Experience working on projects in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is preferred.
• Familiarity with local market rates, procurement practices, and construction regulations.
