Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing all commercial and contractual aspects of projects, including cost control, valuation, variations, and ensuring financial efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.


  • Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents.

  • Measure quantities and evaluate work done for progress payments.

  • Prepare and submit interim valuations and final accounts.

  • Identify, evaluate, and submit variations and claims.

  • Monitor project costs, budgets, and cash flow.

  • Review subcontractor quotations and manage subcontract agreements.

  • Verify subcontractor invoices and certify payments.

  • Maintain proper documentation of all commercial and contractual records.

  • Assist in procurement and material cost analysis.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying / Civil Engineering or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in construction projects (UAE experience preferred).

  • Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, measurement, and cost control.

  • Familiarity with FIDIC or standard construction contracts.

  • Proficient in MS Excel and quantity take-off tools.

  • Good analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
