Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and manage bills of quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and tender documents.
- Monitor project costs and maintain financial control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Evaluate and process progress payments, variations, and claims in coordination with the client and contractors.
- Conduct cost analysis, risk assessment, and value engineering exercises to optimize project expenditure.
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate measurement and cost reporting.
- Maintain records of all contractual documents, correspondence, and change orders.
- Assist in procurement, tender evaluation, and negotiation of contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Ensure adherence to RTA standards, Dubai Municipality regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- Prepare regular reports on project costs, forecasts, and financial performance for senior management.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in quantity surveying for large-scale infrastructure projects, preferably RTA projects in Dubai.
- Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, UAE construction laws, and RTA project specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with roadworks, utilities, and large-scale civil infrastructure projects.
