Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with project managers, architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure cost-effective project delivery while maintaining quality standards.

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, tender documents, interim and final valuations.

• Study consultant and client specifications to prepare accurate BOQs.

• Identify and resolve discrepancies between BOQs, drawings, specifications, and contract conditions.

• Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain the best prices and commercial terms.

• Prepare supplier and subcontractor quote comparisons.

• Monitor, control, forecast, and manage project budgets and costs.

• Handle variations, claims, and final accounts.

• Participate in pre-tender meetings and raise relevant pre-bid queries.

• Prepare initial quotations and contracts for the sales team.

• Coordinate with the design team for analysis of architectural and services drawings.

• Conduct feasibility studies and value engineering exercises.

• Maintain accurate project cost records and supplier databases.

• Perform quantity take-offs from site measurements and AutoCAD drawings.
