Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Managing and controlling the project budget and providing regular cost reports to the client and project team.

Overseeing the preparation of procurement documents, tendering processes, and contractor selection.

Implementing and managing FIDIC contracts, including reviewing contract conditions, managing variations, and ensuring compliance with contract terms.

Preparing detailed cost estimates, including material and labour costs, for different stages of the project.

Maintaining accurate records of all financial transactions, including cost reports, payments, and contractor claims.

Managing the assessment, evaluation, and negotiation of project changes and variations.

Identifying and assessing potential financial risks and providing mitigation strategies.

Participating in value engineering exercises to find cost-effective solutions while maintaining project quality and standards.

Maintaining a good working relationship with the client, contractors, and consultants.

Provide advice on cost-related matters and act as the primary point of contact for all financial and contractual issues.

Desired Candidate Profile

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envisage that you will bring between 5-10 years post contract, management experience from withing a Cost Consultancy environment.

Bachelor s Degree in Quantity Surveying and chartership, MRICS or equivalent would be highly desirable.
