• Analyze blueprints and technical specifications to determine quantity requirements.

• Calculate the cost of materials, labor, and equipment needed for production.

2. Procurement & Vendor Management

• Source raw materials and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness.

• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities (BOQ).

• Evaluate vendor quotes and manage the supply chain to prevent production delays.

3. Production Monitoring

• Track actual material usage against estimated take-offs to identify "wastage" or "shrinkage."

• Provide cost-impact assessments for any changes in production design or material specifications.

• Prepare monthly valuation reports and cost-to-complete forecasts.

4. Financial & Legal Compliance

• Manage progress payments and final accounts for subcontractors or external service providers.

• Ensure all production contracts comply with local labor laws and industry regulations.

• Provide advice on contractual claims and dispute resolution.
