Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in joinery and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of cost estimation, budgeting, procurement, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring value for money while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs for joinery and fit-out works.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare accurate quantities.
- Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate pricing and terms.
- Monitor project budgets and control costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and variations.
- Conduct site visits to verify progress and ensure alignment with cost plans.
- Liaise with project managers, architects, and clients to ensure commercial objectives are met.
- Maintain records of all contractual and financial correspondence.
- Assist in procurement and tendering processes.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in quantity surveying within the joinery and fit-out industry.
- Strong knowledge of materials, methods, and costs associated with interior fit-out and bespoke joinery.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with UAE construction regulations and market rates.
