Roles & Responsibilities
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform the integration, tuning and tests of RF building blocks / products in line with procedures and quality standards
- Manage and lead the execution of near-field tuning and test of AESA antennas in anechoic chamber, ensuring their correct setup and calibration during the measurement process
- Oversee the validation of antenna performance in the near-field environment
- With the support of the local technical referent in RF measurement and of the experts from the business lines, participate to troubleshooting near-field technical challenges and propose/implement improvement process initiatives
- Work closely with the software and hardware engineering team to ensure smooth integration of products evolution or new products
- Ensure that all testing and integration activities comply with industry standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical documentation, including test reports, issue tracking, and performance analysis, ensuring accurate records for future reference
- Actively contribute to process improvements in tuning and testing procedures, driving efficiency and quality enhancements
- Act as a mentor and technical referent, guiding junior technicians in the proper execution of building blocks and antennas tests
Desired Candidate Profile
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- +10 years of experience in RF products assembly, integration and tests for defense and/or space applications. Experience on RF solid-state power amplifiers, receivers and antennas near-field tests are a plus.
QUALIFICATION, CERTIFICATION & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor in RF measurement.
PREFERRED SKILLS
- Deep experience in microwave technologies (defense and/or space applications), especially assembly, integration and tests
- Good knowledge of power and RF tests benches (user profile)
- Ability to take part of technical troubleshooting campaigns
- Ability to lead, guide, and mentor junior technicians, fostering collaboration and knowledge-sharing
- Strong analytical skills to interpret test results, identify anomalies, and suggest corrective actions
- Ability to drive improvements in testing processes and methodologies, optimizing the efficiency and quality of products/sub-systems integration
- You speak Arabic / English with excellent communication
