Job Summary
RESPONSIBLE FOR FULL RECRUITMENT LIFE CYCLE - SOURCING TO ON-BOARDING. ENSURE THE ONGOING AND FUTURE ORGANIZATIONAL TALENT DEMANDS ARE MET, EXCEEDED, AND MEASURED. TO PROVIDE DAY TO DAY SUPERVISION OF THE RECRUITMENT SECTION, REPORTING TO THE DIRECTOR, HUMAN RESOURCES IN RELATION TO THE FUNCTIONS AND OPERATIONS OF THE RECRUITMENT SECTION. DIRECTLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RECRUITMENT ACTIVITIES WITHIN THE RECRUITMENT SECTION (SENIOR MANAGEMENT, NURSING, ALLIED MEDICAL AND SUPPORT SERVICES.
Responsibilities
Role Specific
Regularly liaise with department directors/ Heads to identify specific recruitment and selection requirements, regularly.
Provides success rate statistics to the Director, Human Resources as and when required
Updates job profiles and person profiles with formal communication of same to both Dept. Head and Employee and updates shared folders within the data files.
Liaise with team and organize effective job posting/measures for recruitment requirements
Identifies suitably qualified candidates, conduct preliminary HR interviews and forward CV’s to respective department managers for review and compiles short lists of candidates
Arrange interview schedule as directed for shortlisted candidates
Coordinates and participates in interviewing and Selection of Staff
Ensure all required information and documentation is provided to selected candidate. Communicate with candidate ensuring required paperwork is returned and contractual issues understood. Arrange mobilization requirements for candidate.
Responsible for ensuring that the successful candidate file is completed
Coordinate with Director of Human Resources and Department Managers on progress of mobilization activities
Ensures verification is carried out on all successful candidate’s qualifications and up to date references
Perform HR Administrative Project Related assignments as directed by the Director of Human Resources to the highest quality with accuracy
Generate HR Statistical report providing information regarding (cost of advertising /target areas/expenses/ saving etc) as and when required
Responsible for recruitment requirements for key recruitment areas
Talent Acquisition – Senior Management & Key areas for Nursing/Allied Health & Management (Full recruitment Life Cycle - Sourcing to On-Boarding)
Advertisements/ Job Postings – agreed media
Propose Plans, provide support for Recruitment Drive/campaigns.
Liaise with the Data Analyst on reports required for Senior Management, Operational Management
Work with internal teams and Chief/ Directors/Managers to assist with all recruitment efforts.
Assist with both external and internal hiring efforts (internal recruitment meaning assessment of employees for different or more senior roles.
Identify and source appropriate talent for current open roles within the organization
Identify future talent needs and proactively recruiting and sourcing; develop talent pool.
Manage the recruitment process and lifecycle, including initial assessments, interviews, and offers, up to On- Boarding
Qualifications
What it takes to work with us in this position
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in HR or Personnel management
International certification in Human Resources
Experience:
a minimum of 5 years as a recruitment manager in a hospital setting
Experienced in JCIA accreditation
