Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Sourcing and Screening Candidates: Actively search for, identify, and screen candidates for various blue-collar positions using job boards, databases, and community outreach.

Skill and Certification Verification: Verify necessary qualifications, licenses, certifications, and trade-specific skills required for technical roles to ensure candidates meet job standards.

Conducting Interviews: Perform initial phone screenings and in-person/virtual interviews to assess candidate experience, work history, reliability, and cultural fit for demanding environments.

Managing the Recruitment Pipeline: Oversee the entire hiring process from initial application to final offer, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for both the candidate and the hiring manager.

Job Description Development: Work with hiring managers to create clear, accurate, and appealing job descriptions that accurately reflect the duties and physical requirements of blue-collar roles.

Developing Talent Pools: Build and maintain a pipeline and network of qualified candidates for frequently filled or hard-to-fill positions, preparing for future staffing needs.

Coordination of Background Checks and Drug Screens: Arrange and process necessary pre-employment requirements, such as background checks, driving record checks, and drug testing, often required for safety-sensitive roles.

Negotiation and Offer Extension: Prepare, present, and negotiate salary and benefit packages, extending formal job offers to successful candidates.

Compliance and Documentation: Ensure all hiring practices comply with local, state, and federal labor laws, and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation on all candidates and recruitment activities.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers and department heads to understand their specific staffing needs and labor requirements.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in a relevant field

  • 2-3 Years of experience in recruitment, especially for blue-collar roles
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Hands-on experience with sourcing tools and interview management
