You are responsible for screening resumes to determine which candidates meet the minimum requirements. Acquiring the most suitable talents is your sole purpose in this role and make sure they meet the organization s requirements.
Key responsibilities & duties
• Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with hiring managers; interviewing applicants on consistent set of qualifications.
• Determines applicant requirements by studying job description and job qualifications.
• Performing in-person and phone interviews with candidates
• Coordinating interviews and with the hiring managers
• Screening resumes
• Organize and participate in hiring events
• Maintain recruitment applicant tracking system ensuring data accuracy
• Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits; making presentations; maintaining rapport.
• Provide recommendations when necessary on how to adjust recruiting strategies

Desired Candidate Profile

Academic or trade qualifications
• Academic degree in Human Resources or relevant fields.
Work experience and skills
• One to two years previous working experience in recruitment
• Background in any of the IT engineering fields is a major plus
• Interviewing Skills
• People Skills
• Demonstrated knowledge, skills and/or abilities relevant to the areas described above.
• Detail oriented, excellent follow-up skills to support the recruitment process.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational and time-management skills.
• Fluent in English; Speaking, writing and reading
• Experience and familiarity with using an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
