We re looking for a high performing, experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing, ambitious sales team. The Business Development Manager is a key role reporting directly to the Sales Director. The role may be based in Dubai, KSA or Bahrain depending on the candidate and will be responsible for establishing new clients and growing sales in areas we may not have significant brand presence.
What does the role involve? As the Regional Business Development Manager you ll be expected to travel around the region frequently. You ll visit clients and prospects from a wide variety of backgrounds including marine contractors, consultants and distributors, to grow and develop what will be your own territory. It involves rolling up your sleeves to demonstrate some of the most pioneering products in the industry. Although you ll be expected to pick up the phone regularly, it s far from traditional cold calling. You ll nurture relationships with clients and prospects, helping them find the most innovative, effective and cost-efficient solution for their needs. You ll enjoy a combination of autonomy and camaraderie, managing your own diary whilst feeling support from a friendly team. We ll trust you to do whatever it takes to deliver outstanding results and reward you appropriately.
- Previous experience successfully gaining new clients and growing sales in a new territory without an existing client base or known brand.
- Previous experience signing up and managing new distributors
- Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Previous experience working in KSA
- Fluent in Arabic (written & spoken)
