Scope:
To support the development of East marketing strategy and lead a team in the implementation of effective client brand and marketing strategies appropriate to the region, business units and all relevant service lines
Responsibilities:
1. Support the development of the regional marketing strategy and tailored plans which address business and service line needs across the key geographies aligned to the Group marketing strategy, business and BD strategies
2. Monitor the effectiveness of the regional business application of the Petrofac ‘brand promise’ (Marketing) with the ‘brand delivery’ (Services/Relationships) and make recommendations
3. Manage a process for gathering and assessing client feedback in region and feeding this into the wider Marketing and BD function
4. Support the development of a client-centric narrative and campaigns across existing core and new growth markets in East
5. Manage the implementation of the regional marketing plans and all associated activities within budget and agreed timescales
6. Protect and develop awareness of the Petrofac brand in region
7. Lead a regional team in the delivery of consistent and high-quality marketing activities
8. Provide a key interface for regional BD and business leaders
9. Support the development and manage the implementation of client engagement channels
10. Support the creation and manage the dissemination of regional business and service line messaging, client propositions and peer group differentiators to support Petrofac’s competitive advantage
11. Create consistent, fit-for-purpose marketing collateral to support the regional requirements
12. Provide high quality support, guidance and input for key regional BD pursuits and ITT responses across region.
13. Effectively manage the interface with marketing ‘shared services’ and Design team for effective regional collaboration on key projects
14. Work collaboratively with EPS West RHoM, West Marketing team and regional communications
15. Appoint, manage and collaborate with creative agencies and external consultants as required and manage associated delivery to support the realisation of the regional Marketing objectives
Requirements:
• Significant knowledge and understanding of business and marketing process and tactics
• A clear grasp of the fundamentals of the global oil and gas landscape and peer group
• Good knowledge of the Group’s service capability and approach
• Understanding of the regional market drivers and changing client needs and how to align marketing strategies to address these
• Experience of supporting business development activities
• Knowledge and understanding of existing and available marketing channels
• Experience of brand management and marketing sub-brands
• Change management
• External agency management
• Knowledgeable, experienced and a self-starter
• People management
• Aware of and adhere to the legal (and/or best practice and ethical) standards for marketing activities including advertising standards, opt out and data protection legislation
• Solid business acumen, ability to translate complex issues and provide constructive internal challenge
• Ability to influence successfully at all levels
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Demonstrable management capability
• Strong creative skills and vision
• Pragmatic and solutions-orientated
• Excellent stakeholder management capabilities
• A trusted advisor, providing senior functional management and credible advice to senior leaders and peers

• Related experience in a senior internal marketing or marketing/ communications role in oil and gas
• Extensive management experience, able to form strong performing teams
• International marketing/communications experience, displaying cultural awareness and ability to successfully transcend cultures and borders
• Proven track record for managing and implementing marketing activities
• Experienced in advising, collaborating with and influencing senior stakeholders
• People management experience with ability to engage at all levels
• Experience of designing engagement strategies and programmes that drive tangible relationship building opportunities
