To efficiently maintain and expand the current level of business enjoyed by the company's Regional Middle East Office primarily to start Oman and Egypt. In parallel he will be responsible for making and updating project data base up and running. He is expected to have a two way communication on projects between various distributors as well as other Sales Rep in the ME team. This will be followed by addition of other countries mainly but not limited to Gulf Co-operative Council (GCC countries). Tasks will include ensuring that the company is included on key project vendor lists via the utilisation of the Major Project data base. Responsibility includes that all available business opportunities emanating from these areas are maximised to their fullest potential. Apart from following up all quotations, this process will also include taking necessary action for conversion of these opportunities in to business, execute them and complete the Project Cycle. In addition to the above, an active role will be undertaken with regard to the preparation of sales budgets and there will be an administrative responsibility as defined below. Finally, backing and assistance will be provided to the Regional Manager as and when requested. 1. Update the RM with project information and feed in the Major Project Data Base and take whatever action is required in order to ensure that the company's products appears on all necessary Approved Vendor Lists for major projects.
2. These actions should be taken at the earliest possible opportunity i.e. Conceptual and Front End Design as well as at EPC Bidding stages. Efforts must be made to ensure that the company is entered in consultant
specifications for major projects. To this end, efficiency with Microsoft Power Point is considered
essential so that full product presentations can be delivered as and when required with total confidence
and authority.3. An efficient record of actions needs to be provided back to the Office Administrator for entering back on the Data Base
4. Establish a solid working relationship with our appointed agents and distributors and provide the necessary motivation and. product training to ensure that the budget targets are attained or exceeded. Monitor performance of our agents and distributors taking remedial actions in the event of identified lack of performance as well as quickly resolving problem situations within the respective territories as and when they arise.
