Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Monitoring the health of pregnant mother and their unborn babies.
  • Educating patients and family members on reproductive health, preparation for parenthood, and antenatal care.
  • Pain management techniques education.
  • Providing emotional support and encouragement during labor.
  • Independant nursing management skills including CGI reading, ECG etc.
  • Assisting and educating in new born latching.
  • Providing sound advice to patients regarding diets, exercises, and medications suitable for pregnancy.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing.
  • Completion of an accredited midwifery educational program.
  • DHA/ MOH/ DOH License as Registered Midwife.
  • Proven experience working as a midwife.
  • Basic Life Support - BLS, Advanced life support - ALS and Neonatal Resuscitation Program - NRP certifications is mandatory.
  • The ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and clinical assessment skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Patient and compassionate.
